Join Mason in Motion on PlayStation.

PlayStation players need Minecraft Bedrock, a Microsoft account linked inside Minecraft, and PlayStation Plus for online multiplayer and Realm access.

Before the first session

  1. Update Minecraft to the latest version.
  2. Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the child's Minecraft gamertag.
  3. Confirm PlayStation Plus is active for online multiplayer.
  4. Make sure Microsoft/Xbox family settings allow multiplayer and cross-network play.
  5. After the gamertag is added, open Minecraft and look for the private Realm under Friends.

Common problems

The Microsoft account will not link.

PlayStation can remember a previously linked Microsoft account. Make sure you are signing into the account originally associated with that PlayStation profile.

The Realm is not showing.

Verify the exact gamertag, restart Minecraft, and confirm both the Microsoft sign-in and PlayStation Plus membership are active.

Cross-platform play is blocked.

Review Microsoft/Xbox privacy settings for the child account and allow multiplayer/cross-network play.
