Join Mason in Motion on Windows.
Use Minecraft for Windows / Bedrock Edition, not Java Edition. Windows players do not need a separate console online membership.
Before the first session
- Launch Minecraft for Windows and make sure it is updated.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account tied to the child's gamertag.
- Confirm multiplayer is allowed in Microsoft/Xbox privacy settings.
- After the gamertag is added, open Play → Friends and select the Mason in Motion Realm.
Common problems
I only see Java Edition.
Mason in Motion uses Bedrock. Launch Minecraft for Windows from the Minecraft Launcher rather than Java Edition.
Multiplayer buttons are disabled.
Review the Microsoft family/Xbox privacy settings for the child account and allow multiplayer.
The Realm is missing.
Confirm the exact gamertag submitted, then sign out and back into Minecraft and restart the game.
